Born and raised in Milwaukee, WI, Williams grew up surrounded by culture, community and unlimited possibilities. As the oldest of her mothers two daughters, the 31-year-old CEO and past founder/store manager of Enigmas Closet has managed to create one of Milwaukees most distinct womens wear brands.
In 2001Williams started to play her position as a visionary and created a brand based on the name of creative director and designer, Disaya Prakobsantisukh of Beijing, mashed with her familys name of Anne.
In 2002, the colorful fashionista purchased her first sewing machine and in the following year (2003), launched international brand, DisayaAnne, with a platform inspired by her childhood passion of working in the arts.
I dream new designs weekly, says the one of a kind designer. And honestly, it has been a dream come true to inspire someone to become something in life through using those designs and my skills.
With all the skills and diligence in her soul, Williams was able showcase DisayAnne in Chicago, IL (2005), Atlanta, GA (2006) and even the fashion capital of the world, New York, NY (2007). As an emerging designer she had the world at her fingertips, but something seemed to be missing. She wanted a family. She met Robert Williams, got married and they decided to get pregnant.
